Judas by lady Gaga

Friday, May 6, 2011

American recording artist Lady Gaga has a new song "Judas", taken from her upcoming second studio album Born This Way (2011). The song was released worldwide on April 15, 2011, four days ahead of its scheduled release, by Interscope Records. Written and produced by Lady Gaga and RedOne, "Judas" is a dance song that speaks of a woman in love with a man who betrays her while simultaneously embodying things that have haunted her in the past, thus representing something that was bad for her – something she could not escape. Gaga explained that it's also about "honoring your darkness in order to bring yourself into the light, [...] You have to look into what’s haunting you and need to learn to forgive yourself in order to move on."
This song has a similar sound to Gaga's previous singles like "Poker Face", "LoveGame", "Bad Romance", and "Alejandro", and contains three distinct hooks and a break down influenced by house music. The breakdown contains influences of tribal-techno and dubstep. Gaga explained that the lines spoken during the breakdown talks about her being beyond the ability to redeem herself, in terms of the traditional views of what a woman is supposed to be. The artwork for the single was designed by Gaga in Microsoft Word and features a black background with the word "Judas" written in red capital letters in Impact font. It was released via her web video series, Transmission Gagavision. Critics noted similarity between "Judas" and "Bad Romance", but praised the musical production of the song, complimenting its energy and the robotic break down.
The music video of the song was filmed in early April, co-directed by Lady Gaga and Laurieann Gibson and co-starring Norman Reedus. It includes a Biblical storyline where Reedus plays Judas Iscariot and Gaga plays Mary Magdalene. Prior to its release, the Catholic League condemned Gaga for the alleged use of religious imagery and her role as Magdalene in the video.

Tonight tonight by Hot Chelle Rae

Tuesday, May 3, 2011

Hot Chelle Rae is a pop band formed in Nashville, Tennessee, in 2005. This band consists of Ryan Follese (lead vocals, guitar), Nash Overstreet (lead guitar, vocals), Ian Keaggy (bass, vocals), and Jamie Follese (drums). Their debut album Lovesick Electric, was released on October 27, 2009.

Hot Chelle Rae began in 2005, with a meeting between singer-songwriter Ryan and guitarist Nash. Initially a case of polar opposites, the two began to warm up to each others styles and together they started a band called Miracle Drug.[2] After several changes to the lineup, Ian (who had been childhood friends with Nash) came to a show and, after seeing that the band had a hired bassist, decided to join the band as their new bassist. Declaring that "If that guy can play bass, I can play bass" (he only played guitar until actually joining the band).[2] The three began working on songs together, and decided to head towards a dancier music sound. Jamie, R.K.'s younger brother, joined the band immediately after graduating high school. They were unsure of the decision at first because of how young Jamie was, but at rehearsals he played the songs like he had always known them. This made the decision final.
The band is named for the first "dedicated" fan, Chelle Rae, a Myspace stalker who provided the band with quite an entertaining era of online activity until her false identity was discovered and brought to light. In the summer of 2007, the band opened a sold out concert for rapper Lil Jon. Later on that year, they played a string of venues at the prestigious South by Southwest music festival in Austin, Texas, and then went on tour with the band Vedera.

Katy Perry is being scared in Planning Parenthood

The pop singer Katy Perry has admitted that her strict Christian upbringing left her living in fear of Planned Parenthood. She said that she thought bad things would happen to her when she used to reproductive health service. She told Vanity Fair, "Growing up, seeing Planned Parenthood, it was considered like the abortion clinic. I was always scared I was going to get bombed when I was there. "I didn't know it was more than that - it was for women and their needs. I didn't have insurance, so I went there and I learned about birth control." But she added that despite their differing views, she has learned to accept her parent's ways as she has grown up. "I think sometimes when children grow up, their parents grow up," she said. "Mine grew up with me. We coexist. I don't try to change them anymore, and I don't think they try to change me. We agree to disagree. "They're excited about [my success]. They're happy that things are going well for their three children and that they're not on drugs, or in prison."
