Justin Eyeing Role in Kutchers Comedy

The teen pop sensation Justin Bieber proved that he can pack move theaters with his 3D biopic "Justin Bieber Never Say Never," and the pop star's next step on the silver screen may be in a scripted comedy.He   talks to land a major role in "What Would Kenny Do?," an Ashton Kutcher-led comedy expected to start shooting next year, according to the Los Angeles Times.



The teen pop heartthrobs would star as an awkward  who receives advice from his thirtysomething self, who would be played by Kutcher. Bieber has reportedly been attached to the project for months, although his current world tour prevents "Kenny" from going into production in 2011. The film will be produced by Kutcher's Katalyst Entertainment and Will Smith's Overbrook Entertainment, with a writer and director currently being sought for the project


Justin, who took home two trophies at the Juno awards on Sunday , was reportedly in talks to work with Kutcher last October as the host of an updated version of MTV's "Punk'd." Although "What Would Kenny Do?" would be the pop star's first foray into scripted comedy, he showed off his thespian skills in a pair of episodes of "CSI," which included a spectacular death sequence in an episode last month.

Taylor Celebrates 20 Million Sales in London

The teen pop singer and composer Taylor Swift ended her European tour on a celebratory note, Not only did she perform in front of thousands of fans, she got an honor for reaching the 20 million mark in worldwide album sales.

Taylor Swift was given a plaque commemorating the milestone before her sold-out concert Wednesday night at the O2 Arena.

 Taylor Swift said"It's just sort of beyond my comprehension to get a plaque like that, and the fact the fans have done that much for me in such a short period of time is unreal, and I'm so excited and so thankful," she told The Associated Press after the presentation.

The  Grammy-winner released her latest multiplatinum effort, "Speak Now," last fall. It's just the third album of her young career.

The pop star launched an international tour this year that take  her to Asia and Europe. It wrapped up with her London concert. She called the trek a "life-changing experience."

"I couldn't think of a more perfect way to end this European run. I've gotten to experience just parts of the world I never thought I'd get to see, nonetheless play shows in and have the crowds singing the words back to me," she said.

Award winning pop artist Katy Perry and Calvin Harris appeared to engage in a public spat on Twitter, after the Scottish DJ allegedly pulled out of her Dublin and UK shows at the last minute. Katy Perry announced Harris would not be performing with her on Twitter,and she says: "FYI ALL UK & IRELAND SHOWS @CalvinHarris will NOT be joining in on the fun and has CANCELLED last minute." But Harris hit back, claiming Perry's "team" made it impossible for him to DJ. He tweeted: "Sorry to all who wanted to see me with Katy — her team suddenly moved the goalposts, and I was to appear on stage with no production." He sent another tweet just minutes later, saying: "Am really sorry @katyperry I'm just upset because I really wanted to play but ur team made it impossible." But the feisty Teenage Dream singer fired back: "@CalvinHarris… funny the goalpost seems to be perfectly fine for New Young Pony Club, Yelle, Robyn, Marina & The Diamonds, to name a few… it's fine, I'm used to you cancelling on me, it's become ur [sic] staple!" Perry kicked off her California Dreams tour at London's Hammersmith Apollo on 17 March, but due to an overwhelming demand for tickets, she has added two extra dates to her tour....
