Taylor Lends Her Voice The Lorax Film

Friday, March 18, 2011

The actress and  teen pop sweetheart Taylor Swift has joined the assembly voicecast of "Dr. Seuss' The Lorax," Universal and Illumination Entertainment's CGI-animated adaptation of the children's book classic.

Swift joins Danny DeVito, Ed Helms, Zac Efron, Rob Riggle and Betty White in the tale of a boy who searches for a way to win the affection of the girl of his dreams. He comes across the story of the Lorax, the grumpy yet charming creature who fights to protect his world.

The singer-actress will play the dream girl of the idealistic young boy (Efron). DeVito is voice of the Lorax while Helms voices Once-ler, who in the book is never shown except for his hands and arms. Riggle plays a greedy entrepreneur while White will voice Efron's wise grandmother.

This  film reunites many of the players behind Illumination's first movie, "Despicable Me:" Chris Renaud is directing from a screenplay by Cinco Paul & Ken Daurio.

Enlightenment founder Chris Meledandri and fellow "Despicable Me" producer Janet Healey are producing while Audrey Geisel, Seuss' widow, serves as the film's executive producer.

The pic will be WME-repped Swift's second entry into the movie world, after her live action debut in last year's Valentine's Day.

After impressing in a supporting role in the Best Picture-nominated "The Social Network," the actor and singer  Justin Timberlake was on the big screen as the lead opposite Mila Kunis in the new romantic comedy "Friends with Benefits." A new trailer for the flick, which is due out in July, was released today (Mar. 17).
After their latest relationships to Emma Stone and Andy Samberg, correspondingly meet their demise, Timberlake and Kunis' characters agree to avoid any romantic woes and stick to casual sex with each other. As the two head from New York City to Los Angeles and we can safely assume  fall in love somewhere in the journey, Justin is given the chance to dust off his musical skills by dancing to Kriss Kross' "Jump" and crooning Semisonic's "Closing Time," which he mistakes for a Third Eye Blind song.
The plot is eerily familiar to January's Ashton Kutcher-Natalie Portman rom-com "No Strings Attached," but it's encouraging to see Timberlake showing some comedic chops in his first starring role  and looking so chipper after his offscreen breakup with Jessica Biel.

Christina Aguilera was the join Twitter for the voice

Pop Superstar Christina Aguilera says she will finally start tweeting Having in particular avoided typing her thoughts in 140-character bits, Aguilera said Tuesday while promoting NBC's "The Voice" that Christina "will join Twitter in honor of the show."

The Celebrety Blake Shelton, Cee Lo Green and Maroon 5's Adam Levine - the mentors on "The Voice" -- spent Tuesday speaking with members of the media to promote the upcoming singing competition show that debuts Apr. 26.
While executive producers Mark Burnett and John De Mol and host Carson Daly spoke in inflated terms about the level of "great" talent wrinkled up for the show and how different "The Voice"" will be from "American Idol" and the much-anticipated "X Factor," the four mentors were less definite about what to expect.

"The four of us have never experienced anything like this so we're learning as we go along," Levine said, seated in one of the four oversized red chairs that will be a signature part of the show's set. "We really don't know what will happen. Having never been in this position before makes it exciting."

No one associated with the show went into an extensive explanation, but the show is based on the four mentors hearing eight singers audition and then deciding if they want to work with a particular singer. The mentors, unlike the audience, will not be able to see the singers and will based their decision solely on the singers' voices.

Justin Bieber
Justin Bieber been a featured  to the latest song of Chris Brown "Next to you"...

Next to you Lyrics

You've got that smile,
That only heaven can make.
I pray to God everyday,
That you keep that smile.

[Justin Bieber]
Yeah, you are my dream,
There's not a thing I won't do.
I'll give my life up for you,
Cos you are my dream.

[Bridge]
And baby, everything that I have is yours,
You will never go cold or hungry.
I'll be there when you're insecure,
Let you know that you're always lovely.
Girl, cos you are the only thing that I got right now

[Chorus]
One day when the sky is falling,
I'll be standing right next to you,
Right next to you.
Nothing will ever come between us,
I'll be standing right next to you,
Right next to you.

[Chris Brown]
You had my child,
You make my life complete.
Just to have your eyes on little me,
That'd be mine forever.

[Bridge]
And baby, everything that I have is yours
You will never go cold or hungry
I'll be there when you're insecure
Let you know that you're always lovely
Girl, cos you are the only thing that I got right now

[Chorus]

One day when the sky is falling,
I'll be standing right next to you,
Right next to you.
Nothing will ever come between us,
I'll be standing right next to you,
Right next to you.

[Bridge]
We're made for one another
Me and you
And I have no fear
I know we'll make it through

One day when the sky is falling
I'll be standing right next to you
Ohh ohh ohh ohhhhh

[Chorus]
One day when the sky is falling,
I'll be standing right next to you,
Right next to you.
Nothing will ever come between us,
I'll be standing right next to you,
Right next to you.

Oh nah nah
Oh yeah
Stand by my side
When the sky falls
Oh baby
I'll be there

You've got that smile,
That only heaven can make.
I pray to God everyday,
To keep you forever.
