Esperanza Spalding winning for best new artist








Country music artists Lady Antebellum got an awards for best record, song and country song of the year. The trio's song, "Need You Now," became a crossover hit, earning the group won a total of five Grammys.


 Usher got an  awards for best male R&B vocal and best contemporary  R&B album.
 Pop artist Rihanna  Appearing in a flowing black and gold dress in Grammy award ,Rihanna opened the set with Eminem, singing "Love the Way ou Lie." and she returned in a much skimpier outfit, reminiscent of Wonder Woman, when she performed "What's My Name?" with Drake, left.






One of the Popular Train,  took home the award for best pop performance by a duo or group.







Rapper Eminem had a leading 10 nominations but won only two, like best rap album and rap solo performance. Eminem also accepts the award for best rap album.







Pop singer  John Legend won awards in Grammy for best R&B album, best R&B song, and best traditional R&B vocal performance for his song "Shine" off the album "Wake up!" with The Roots.









 Most popular famale artist Lady Gaga made the most auspicious arrival at the Grammy ,she was  concealed in a giant egg, which hatched on stage for her performance of "Born This Way." she got an awards for best female pop vocal performance, best short form music for "Bad Romance" and best pop vocal album for "The Fame Monster."

The male pop artist BrunoMars is center arrived at the Grammys  award with, left, Philip Lawrence and Ari Levine. Later, he took the stage with B.o.B. and Janelle Morae to perform some of their most popular songs.  Bruno Mars sang "Grenade" in a throwback to James Brown.
